A 52 year lady came to us on 29/8/2007 with complaint of severe pain and swelling in both the knees. X-ray of the knees revealed severe 'osteoarthritis' of both knee joints with varus deformity.
The pain was so intense that she was unable to move even in the house. She took opinion of an orthopedic doctor who suggested surgery as the only option. She was reluctant to undergo a surgery and so consulted us for homoepathic treatment.
During the in-depth interview about her life situation we perceived her to be a very mild and yielding person who never retaliated and always suppressed her feelings. She said that she meekly submitted to the domination of her father in her childhood and in-laws after marriage.
